Now Open! FY27 Commercial & Community Buildings Grant Program
Program Purpose: The intent of the Maryland Energy Administration (“MEA”) Commercial & Community Buildings Grant Program is to facilitate building decarbonization through energy efficiency upgrades, electrification, and renewable energy development and storage for eligible buildings in Maryland. This program aims to accelerate greenhouse gas emissions reductions, lower energy costs, and power robust clean energy and economic development.
Target Audience: State and Montgomery County Building Energy Performance Standards (BEPS) covered buildings, large and small commercial buildings with for-profit and non-profit building owners, county and municipal governments, and Maryland’s Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and the Maryland School for the Blind.
