Notice of Intent for Fiscal Year 2027: The Maryland Energy Administration is pleased to announce the intent to award grants on a competitive basis to increase access to affordable and reliable electric vehicle (EV) charging networks and reduce transportation greenhouse gas emissions throughout Maryland, and especially in overburdened communities. MEA expects to begin accepting applications in Autumn 2026. Further updates will be posted on this webpage. Final program parameters and application instructions will be included in the FY27 Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).

Target Audience: Businesses, nonprofits, local governments, local education agencies, and higher education institutions.

All FY25 Community EVSE Program grantees must submit Quarterly Progress Reports. These reports provide regular project updates and serve as the mechanism for submitting reimbursement requests.
