Building Automation & Controls
Main_Content
Building automation and controls systems consist of sensors, controllers, and software, which together monitor and control a building's mechanical and electrical systems like HVAC and lighting. These systems optimize energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
The Maryland Clean Buildings Hub (the Hub), an initiative of the Maryland Energy Administration, empowers Maryland’s building owners to make well-informed energy investments in their properties by connecting them to financial, educational, and technical assistance.
