Task Force to Study Solar Incentives

Solar Energy Task Force

MEA Director Paul Pinsky is serving as the chair of the newly-created Task Force to Study Solar Incentives (“Task Force”). The Maryland legislature created the​ Task Force under Chapter 545 of the 2023 Laws of MarylandMeetings will be held throughout 2023 with the aim of studying the impacts of solar energy in Maryland and ensuring that the state meets the solar energy goals established in the State's renewable energy portfolio standard.​

Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held in the Maryland Department of the Environment meeting rooms on the 1st floor of the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21230 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. (Parking instructions can be found here.)​
