Task Force to Study Solar Incentives

MEA Director Paul Pinsky served as the chair of the Task Force to Study Solar Incentives (“Task Force”). The Maryland legislature created the Task Force under Chapter 545 of the 2023 Laws of Maryland. Meetings were held throughout 2023 with the aim of studying the impacts of solar energy in Maryland and ensuring that the state meets the solar energy goals established in the State's renewable energy portfolio standard.

The final meeting of the Solar Task Force concluded on January 5, 2024. Thank you for your engagement and participation throughout the Task Force process.
