FY15 Clean Energy Communities Low-to-Moderate Income Grant Program

FY2015 LMI Program Delivers $748,135 in Energy Savings to Maryland Residents

Thousands of low-to-moderate income Marylanders are enjoying lower energy bills thanks to energy efficiency projects funded through MEA’s FY2015 Clean Energy Communities Low-to-Moderate Income Grant Program. Fifty-eight grants to non-profit and government organizations ranging from $5,000 to nearly $1 million supported energy-efficiency measures from weatherization to HVAC and appliance upgrades, generating energy cost savings that leave some of Maryland’s most vulnerable residents with more available income for life’s necessities.
