| This upcoming incentive program will provide rebates to Maryland homeowners, businesses, nonprofits, and Maryland state and local government agencies that install geothermal heating and cooling systems at their homes and properties.

Maryland SolarAPP+ Implementation GrantProgram
| Provides grants to Maryland Counties and Municipalitites, to help pay the costs associated with implementing the free-to-use U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory SolarAPP+ solar permitting software for their communities.

Community Solar LMI-PPA Program
| Maryland PSC-approved Subscriber Organizations can apply to receive incentives for supplying PPAs that maximize value to low-to-moderate income (LMI) subscribers.

Residential Clean Energy Rebate Program | Receive financial assistance to install solar photovoltaic, solar water heating, and geothermal heat pumps.

Commercial Solar Grant Program
| Maryland businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations can receive grants for solar PV systems that are owned by or directly benefit low-to-moderate income, overburdened, and underserved Maryland communities. Enhanced incentives are available for nonprofit organizations, Small Business Enterprises (SBEs), Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (ACDBEs), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), and Veteran- and Disabled Veteran-owned businesses.

Decarbonizing Public Schools Program
| Help Local Education Agencies (LEAs) develop capacity and advance strategies for promoting clean and efficient energy use within their portfolio of current and future K-12 schools and support facilities.

Maryland Smart Energy Communities Programs
| Offers funding for sustainable, long-term, clean energy policies and projects that lead to reduced energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions, increased cost savings, and robust clean energy and economic development.

Solar Canopy and Dual Use Technology Grant Program
| This program provides grants for the installation of parking lot solar canopies with a dual use, such as the integration of electric vehicle chargers.

Solar Energy Equity Program
| Funds are provided for the design and installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) energy-generating systems on the homes of Marylanders that experience low-to-moderate income, or are in overburdened or underserved communities. FY25 Program Closed for Applications.

Solar Technical Assistance Program
| Provides technical assistance, at MEA’s cost, to state or local government entities for solar site surveys, and to conduct preliminary development of solar projects.

Public Facilities Solar Grant Program
| Provides grant funding to City, County or Municipal government entities to support the planning and installation of solar arrays on existing infrastructure of public facilities.

Open Energy Grant Program
| The Maryland Energy Administration is interested in receiving proposals that fall outside the range of its other ENERGY programs.

Maryland Offshore Wind Supply Chain Investment Program
| Provides grant funding on a non-competitive basis to support new or existing businesses entering the offshore wind supply chain in Maryland.

Maryland Offshore Wind Workforce Training & Education Program
| Provides grant funding on a competitive basis to support new or existing workforce training centers and academic institutions expand their capabilities to support the State’s offshore wind workforce training and education efforts.
