What is RGGI?
The Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) is a cooperative effort by ten northeastern and Mid-Atlantic states to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from electricity generating plants. RGGI includes Maryland, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
