The Maryland Home Performance program is sponsored by the Maryland Energy Administration. Participating contractors are trained and certified perform energy audits and install whole-house energy improvements. The Maryland Home Performance Program is part of Governor O’Malley’s EmPOWER Maryland initiative which seeks to reduce Maryland’s electricity consumption 15% per person by 2015.
