Want to save money and make doing laundry easier? Ask for ENERGY STAR. By earning the ENERGY STAR label and meeting strict performance criteria, ENERGY STAR clothes washers:

Save money. The average Maryland resident who uses an ENERGY STAR clothes washer will cut energy and water bills by over $80 per year.

Save energy. Qualified units use 40 percent less energy than non-qualified units.

Save water. Actually, make that a lot of water; 18 gallons per cycle which adds up to as much as 7,000 gallons each year.
