LMI GRANT EVENT AT MARYLAND CENTER FOR VETERANS EDUATION & TRAINING (MCVET)

Please join Maryland Energy Administration  in celebrating the EmPOWER Clean Energy Communities Statewide Competitive Grant of $998,789 for energy efficiency improvements in Baltimore City to Healthy Neighborhoods, Inc.,  in partnership with Baltimore City Energy Office, and 11 non-profit homeless housing and service providers including:
 
Associated Catholic Charities, Inc.
At Jacob’s Well, Inc.
Gaudenzia Foundation, Inc.
Govans Ecumenical Development Corporation (GEDCO)
House of Ruth Maryland, Inc.
Marian House, Inc.
Maryland Center for Veterans Education & Training, Inc. (MCVET)
Project PLASE, Inc.
United Ministries, Inc.
University of Maryland Medical Center Safe Haven Shelter
Volunteers of America Chesapeake, Inc.,
 
Funds will contribute to energy efficiency improvements to a total of 26 homeless facilities in Baltimore City, Maryland. The event will take place on
