Since its beginning, more than 8,000 private and public
sector organizations have joined the ENERGY STARŪ Program,
making it a nation-wide partnership, including:
- More than 150 regional sponsors that serve nearly 60% of
all US households,
- More than 16,000 storefronts in 50 states,
- More than 1,200 manufacturers in 35 plus product
categories representing 13,000 product models,
- More than 4,400 commercial buildings partners, and
- Energy service providers that represent 13% of building
market.
These organizations are part of a growing team dedicated to
increasing ENERGY STAR awareness, delivering product and
services to consumers, and ensuring that consumers both
understand the importance of and know how to put energy
efficiency into practice. Many partners are now working
together to deliver energy efficient products and services to
their customers, while increasing sales and making a positive
