As Maryland moves to quickly build a vibrant clean energy sector and strives to create 100,000 green-collar jobs by 2015, the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) has created the Clean Energy Economic Development Initiative (CEEDI) Support Program to assist in the growth of a clean energy industry throughout the State.  MEA is now accepting proposals from businesses and organizations who seek financial support for projects that will assist Maryland in meeting its goal of generating 20% of its energy from clean, renewable sources by 2022.
